Time Square Part of our 8th grade trip was visiting New York. On this particular night it was raining a lot. For dinner we went to an Itallian Restaurant where somone asked me if I was a New Yorker on my way back from the bathroom I am not sure why, it is not like my voice even sounds like a New Yorker. Everyone was in their nice clothes because we saw Phantom of the Opera on Broadway. It was one of the coolest experiences in my life. The teachers had us run out into the middle of the street so that we could get a class photo. Good Times.

extreme housework
So today I scrubbed and scrubbed our bathroom after the little mishap we had in there. I took off the doors to the shower (yes bubba they do come off) and scrubbed the tub 3 times with different cleaners, then i used some bleach on it. Next the toilet got it, then the floor, and finally the counter. I was dripping in sweat. Yuck. But I now have a very clean and nice looking bathroom. Yea!

I only remember what I did over vacation because I attached it in my memory to each event. Since we have been back I have not kept track... not that I have done anything of significance, execpt eating better. We have been cooking dinner at home, unless we went out with for a family dinner. So that has been good. I am working on sleeping at normal times and eating even better. I need figure out a good time to do my workouts each day as I will start subbing again very shortly.

Reason
So I was thinking I have been scanning in a lot of old photos I have and I would really like to have a something like a Flash Back Friday. But I was hoping to not do it on Friday's. Can anyone think of a cool phrase I can use that includes what day I will post on?
Edit: I was also thinking of maybe doing a name this sort of thing, or my thoughts on movies... any suggestions?

Four
Today we walked all around the aquarium. Then we played two rounds of mini golf. Paul and I also faced off at the basketball hoops and TK and I faced off at air hockey which if you know me I am very physical even when playing fun games like these.

stairs
So today was Red Rocks. Oh man! I have no idea how far we walked or how many stairs but we walked up and down the stairs at Red Rocks at least 3 times. I seriously thought I was going to puke or pass out on my last trip to the top. We also walked down and up a very long and steep ramp to get there in the first place.

16th street
We did a lot of walking every where we went today but the most significant was when we went to 16th Street Mall it is about 1 mile one way. We walked it looking around at all the shops, then walked a few blocks more to the Capitol Building, looked around walked back to have dinner on 16th Street and then walked back to where we had parked the car for the day.

Arrived in Denver
Wow, being a mile high really takes the breath out of you.
Paul and I walked around a lot today. First we walked around the museum then we walked around the lake (a little over a mile) then we rented a paddle boat and peddled around for a half hour. Whew!

Getting Ready
So I ran around the house today. Getting everything ready. Packing, doing dishes, taking out the trash, hefting the bags out to the car, running through Target getting last minute things is quite the workout!

1/2 mile
I did a quick half mile tonight because I went to BU really late at night like usual but no one was around. Usually there are janitors (male and female) and at least a few runners and campus safety drives by every hour or so. Tonight... it was a ghost town so I did a quick two and left. Something is better than nothing.
