today my walk took me over to our local dollar theatre. each way was a two miles. it was very pleasant out today a nice blue sky and just a few clouds. also while i am going on walks throughout the neighborhoods i take an empty plastic bag with me. So that any cans or bottles i see i take home so i can put them towards my MS Walk. i figure i am helping out the environment as well. :)

Mini Golf

VGC youth group use to have all kinds of events. One of the great ones was going mini golfing for $10 tuesdays. You get unlimited mini golf along with two tickets for bumper boats, go-karts and a couple dollars in tokens for the arcade. I cannot get over how young the three of us look. That is TK, Erin J. and me. Wow am I glad I traded those giant glasses in for some contacts. I still have those shoes I am wearing, you think it is time to get rid of them?

I walked over to Wal-mart and Borders today. It is 1.5 miles each way. I found some funny St. Patricks day cards and Get Well cards while walking around Wal-mart. In Borders I picked up a new book to read. It was a bit cold during my walk as it had been raining all morning, but it felt good to be out and about.

for a good cause

I earned quite a nice bit of change when I took in our bottles and cans today, it got me thinking I would like to put all the bottles and cans from now on towards supporting my team in the MS walk. I am asking you kind people if you drink water, soda, beer or anything else that is in a bottle or can to donate them to us. You can bring them by my apartment, I can come pick them up at your home. If you live in San Diego you can take them to my moms, or when I am down there for a weekend I can come by and pick them up. I am trying to raise money in anyway I can for the MS walk. It is near to my heart to do anything I can to help.

my bad

I have still been walking. The first week I was sick I didnt walk because I felt like crud. The second week I was sick (ending today) I walked at least my 2 miles.

Today I walked two miles up to Washington Mutual deposited checks, over to target got some conditioner, next door to Petsmart to get fishy food, then to Vons to pick up some Oatmeal and carried the two miles back home. Then it was time to head to the in-laws to watch the superbowl with the fam. Paul and I left pretty much as soon as it was over and headed out for a walk. We did two miles together. For those of you who didn't keep track that is 6 miles I walked today.

Paul hit the 20 pounds lost mark last night. I am at 14. We have both lost a size in pants. And moving towards another. Sadly Paul is now feeling sick as I am finally almost better.

That is all for now. I will try to update more frequently. I just hit a slump where I didn't feel like it, hense Paul doing all the blogging on ours. Anywho. I will pick it up again.
