Best Experience

Snorkling in Hawaii

It is an indescribable experience, one of the coolest I have ever had. I can't wait till I get to experience Hawaii again.

Cousins

Back in 2002 Paul and Amy's cousin Stacey came out to visit. I believe this was her first trip to CA. So in a week she hit all the major spots. The SD zoo, Disneyland, the beach etc. Here is a photo of the cousins on Main Street in Disneyland.

Flashback

Here is a collection of photos we took of ourselves back in 2000 when we got engaged in Idyllwild. Seems silly that we didnt have anyone take a photo for us. I miss our bench. It sat in that spot from 1999-2006. Every year we would go sit on OUR bench and talk. Last year it was just a frame, and now it is gone. I wish we had somehow taken it home with us one of those years.

3 months

Paul and I went up to Big Bear for our 3 month dating anniversary. (stop laughing) We did something special every month for the first 2 years or so. Then we moved to doing special things for our dating anniv. and our wedding anniv. Anyways. We went sledding, and walked down by the lake and around town. Paul insisted that I lay down so he could take a photo. It was a great little day trip.

I love camping

This is on one of my many camping trips with my Girl Scout Troop. I am guessing we are some where near Camp Pendelton. I miss those days. From R to L: Carmen Otero, Sarah Teuscher, Me, Holly Wood and Rynell Avery.

Mission Valley

I love photos like these. I wish I had more of them. This was taken at the mall in one of their photo booths. We had probably gone to a movie and decided on our way out that we HAD to get our pictures taken. These were taken during my Senior and their Sophomore years.

A new beginning

This is the only photo I have from 2004 at R's Wedding to Steve. It is truly indescribable the feelings I felt on this day and the day that followed. Holding hands with the one person I never thought that would be possible with again began to make those walls crumble. Reconciliation - to restore

B-I-O-L-A

I was a colligiate softball player. Kinda sounds weird, but I was. And I miss it terribly. I want to play again, so badly. Once a year is just not enough for me.

CEC Inc.

From 1999-2002 I worked here. Paul would come in to pick me up from work almost everyday while we were dating. Sometimes Marlene would give us a few tokens to play some of the games before we left. She was a great manager. I wish I knew what store she was at now so I could go catch up with her.

Breakaway

I was so lucky to attend a H.S. that allowed a Christian Club to meet, talk and pray on our campus. The year this was taken it was a very rainy day. While most of us have on jeans, sweatpants and sweatshirts TK has on a very cute outfit and looks fab.

17 hours

In 1999 Curly and I drove to Colorado to pick up TK and help bring her stuff back to Cali. This photo cracks me up. That is Mr. Bear in my lap, Paul won him for me out of a claw machine. I am pretty sure that is one of Paul's shirts I am wearing. I believe this was the first time we were going to be apart for more than 2 days. The most important part is my mouth, I am betting I sang the entire way to CO. To this day I always sing in the car. The only time I don't is when I am concerned about something or overthinking something, then I tend to stare out the window

6 yrs. and still on the honeymoon

Wedding day flashback. I am glad we did not focus on the little things like flowers, and colors, and all the other million details that you deal with in planning a wedding. Instead with Dave Fabarez' guidance we were much more concerned with the marriage. A wedding lasts a day, a marriage lasts a lifetime.

Camp Tecuya

I miss Rynell and Sarah tons. We went to so many camps together during Elementary and Junior High School. Some of our favorites were the horseback riding ones. Even with my cast on they still let me ride. I can only imagine how gross my arm was when they took that thing off.

I want to go HERE

During many summers the VGC youth would go to Raging Waters, Wild Rivers or Palm Springs to a water park. We tried not to lose each other in the "lazy river" by linking arms and rafts. Some of the people in the photo Aurora, Erin, Liz, JJ, Steve. I haven't been to a water park since H.S. and I really want to go back.

Snowday like today

For your viewing pleasure on this H-O-T day.
Once upon a time at the rec. center they had a snow machine brought in and all the kids got to put on their "snow gear" and have a good ol' time sledding down the hill. Andrew Robinson, Justin Weilend and I took turns being in the front of my sled. I think my face says it all in the first photo. :)

Speaking of...

For some insane reason Paul and I drove out to Vegas for our second wedding anniv. (that would be the middle of August) When we reached Baker it was 112 degrees. I am not sure what time of day this was taken at. But I know that it wasn't the hottest part because we avoid that time of day like the plague.

Sadly this is one of two photos we have from that trip as our computer crashed at took our photographic memories with it :(

Happy 4th Birthday

This was taken years ago on the 4th of July, also known as my FIL's Birthday. The brothers and I took dad out for dinner since MIL and SIL were in Santa Cruz and FIL had to work over his birthday. We went to Outback Steakhouse and then watched some of the fireworks being set off on the street.

Wishing I was here

This is from 2005 when we took a cruise around Hawaii. It was an incredible trip and such beauty everywhere we looked. I would love to be back there right now.
