im gunna be sore

Today I was feeling a bit energetic so as soon as school was out I went over to the BU track and weightlifted for a half hour arms and legs, then it was out to the track where I knocked out 4 miles. I got home and was going to take a shower but the pool looked oh so inviting so I jumpped in and swam laps for a little over a half hour. Then I finally took my shower, and had some dinner. After swimming I am always starving, it is as if I hadn't eaten all day.

Colorado River

In May of our Freshman year Moe, Curly and I took off with a group Tom(Moe's Dad) was part of. We went camping and canoed down the river. Well some of us canoed others sat in the middle of the canoe and pretended to do some paddling. ;) I wish I had done more of this type of stuff. Who knows, maybe there is still time.

switch

I just did the minimum two miles today, then I went for a swim today. It was so refreshing. The first swim of the year is always great. I remember how much I love the water. I did laps for an hour this afternoon.

Hume Lake

This was taken when Paul and I had been dating for about 6 months. Hume has always been such a special place to me that I had to share it with him. It was a beautiful day. We rented bikes and rode around the lake, walked around camp and just enjoyed ourselves. It was a really great time. Man, I miss this place. Just seeing this photo makes me want to go back up there.
I did 4.5 miles today and 30 minutes of weights (arms and legs).

stupid soccer team

so i was a bit late getting out to my workout today. i was able to lift weights for 20 min and get in 3 miles before the soccer team closed down the track. i was a little bit upset. i wanted to get another mile in before heading home for some Forman steak, yams a little corn and salad. i hate having dinner alone...

I have been doing my minimum 2 miles during the week for the last two weeks, but I havent weight lifted in quite awhile. Today I changed and headed over to BU as soon as boys and girls club was over today. I weight lifted for a good half hour. Then it was on to the track and 4.5 miles. I met up with Jeri for the last half a mile, but it was getting late so I said see ya and headed home to shower and cook dinner. It was a good day but I have no wanting to do any grading or lesson planning right now... maybe I will just get up early tomorrow.

I want a hug

Despite public knowledge I like hugs.
Many people think of me as not a huggy person.
But in reality I am, I suppose that it depends on each individual as to how open to the hugginess I am.

Bubba Movie

Low - Being away from my Bubba for a whole week. Not that we see each other much normally but not even seeing him when I wake up in the morning was lame.

High - Seeing two movies on Friday. One in the afternoon before Paul came home and one in the late evening once he got home.

Fish

I swam for Serra during my four years of H.S. Each lane is matched up speed wise. I remember swimming so hard at practices so that I would be able to continue to move up lanes. If it hadn't been for swim I wouldn't have some of the incredible friendships that I have today.

Who knew

I love when people "play" with my hair.
Brushing it, braiding it, touching it.
I am not sure why but it makes me feel cared for and loved.

Apologize

I just realized that it has been almost two months since I have posted on here. A lot has been going on and blogging fell to the wayside. I am planning on jump starting this blog again.
