UN-fair

High - Going to the OC fair with our families. I am so blessed that Paul and I get along with each others families and that they get along with each other. I know so many married couples who cant stand their in-laws and I am just so happy that everyone in our families get along. It makes me glad to not have that worry in my life.

Low - Getting word that Robin has slipped into a coma. We are hoping she will come out of it soon. Thank you all for your prayers during this time.

Happy 4th Birthday

This was taken years ago on the 4th of July, also known as my FIL's Birthday. The brothers and I took dad out for dinner since MIL and SIL were in Santa Cruz and FIL had to work over his birthday. We went to Outback Steakhouse and then watched some of the fireworks being set off on the street.

Welcome Back Ulrich

The two on the right are from when I was in H.S. These are TK's parents Barbara and Keith. They have been stationed in Japan for the last few years but are now back home in the US and just a hop, skip and a jump from being in Colorado. The upper right photo TK took when she was in Japan a few months ago. The bottom right photo are two people who I know can't wait for the 'rents to get home. There are a lot of memories wrapped up in these photos. But I just want to say WELCOME BACK you two!

Accepting Donations

I am setting up a at my mom's for either the 2nd or 3rd weekend in April. I will be collecting items that anyone would like to donate (as long as it will fit in my 4runner) the money collected will be added to our team for the MS walk. Our goal is to raise $1,000.00 for this important cause, we have a little over $400 raised so far.

Thank you to those who have donated cans and bottles or purchased braclets and MS bears (Amy, Jeric, Mom, my neighbors at the Apollo Apts, Morgan, Trisha, Moe, Beth, S.Whittier SD)
please keep it up! Thank you to those who have donated online
(Bill and Marie Dougherty, Grandma and Grandpa Goedhart, Paul and Cindy Goedhart, Mark and Betty Hutchins)

Please continue supporting me, my team and this cause in any way you can through donations (recyclables, items for the garage sale, online donations), prayer, being a workout buddy, or joining the MS walk. I greatly appreciate it and I know that we can make a difference in the lives of those who are living with MS.
Thanks again for all your hard work.

Joy

Aunt Carol and Leslie Joy
A couple years ago we attended a retirement party for my Uncle Barry. It was a suprise party and the look on his face as he saw co-workers, neighbors, family and friends was priceless. He did not suspect a thing. Everyone had a great time.

Also a congratulations to Leslie Joy is in order as she has announced she is pregnant with her first child. We wish you a healthy pregnancy and a safe delivery. We look forward to meeting this little miracle sometime in August.

Josh

This is my favorite picture of my cousin Josh. He looks a bit different now as this was taken about 9 years ago at my H.S. graduation. He was such a cute kid. He is wearing the hat my dad wore to keep the sun off his noggin. Josh really wanted to try it on, he had the biggest grin on his face when my dad first put it on his head.

MS New Year's Game

Some more highs this week. I signed up for the MS walk! I am so excited to be able to feel like I can do something to support Keith, even if it is indirectly. We had family game night which was lots of fun. Paul and I began our exercise routine of walking a minimum of 2 miles a day to help get heathier this year. New Years Eve we spent more time with family playing cards for monies (I even won one of the games). Yea, for another fun week.
