Snowday like today

For your viewing pleasure on this H-O-T day.

Once upon a time at the rec. center they had a snow machine brought in and all the kids got to put on their "snow gear" and have a good ol' time sledding down the hill. Andrew Robinson, Justin Weilend and I took turns being in the front of my sled. I think my face says it all in the first photo. :)

Horsing around

Yes, this is me on a horse. I scanned in the photo so it is not such a good quality.

This photo is from J.H. at a Girl Scout camp. Rynell Avery, Sarah Teuscher and I spent a week one summer learning how to properly ride, and care for horses. We slept under the stars on cots. You can't see it in this photo but I do have a cast on while riding. You only need one arm to hold the reins. :) We were allowed to learn things like pole bending and barrel racing. So much fun! I miss those summer days of hanging out with you girls and being at camps.

Cousins

My memory for this week... Many times when my cousin Amanda would come down we would go over to the park at the Rec. Center in Tierrasanta. It looks much different these days but we use to have a lot of fun going on the swings, climbing around and going down the slide. It is hard to believe that she is now in college. Crazy how time flies.
